Handles[1] are objects in Super Mario Galaxy 2 and its Nintendo Switch port, introduced in the Yoshi Star Galaxy. In order to pull the drawer out, Yoshi must grab the handle with his tongue. After pulling the handle, the drawer opens for a limited time and music plays, indicating when the drawer will close. After the music stops, the drawer closes. The handle can be pulled an unlimited number of times.

Handles come in two different colors, red and green. Despite being different colors, they both function the same.
